Most of you already know, but for those of you who don't, here is Jon's Birthday present. Caroline, you better tell Jeff to bring his helmet, I am not sure mine will fit him! We are giving out free rides to whoever wants to come over. Thanks everyone for the fun Birthday! Jon had so much fun, I will post pictures of the party later. Love ya!

What! I can't believe you didn't tell me when I talked to you earlier!!!! I can't believe you got a scooter before me. I wanted one first. But I guess you need one more:( That's a great way to get around. Jeff kept saying, I just wish I could rent a scooter for a month while I'm there. Well now he doesn't have to. What kind is it?

E' una Vespa...la macchina piu' bella in tutto il mondo.

Vespas are more expensive than some other brands, but supposedly they're worth the price. All-metal body and excellent craftsmanship makes it so they don't fall apart easily. The salesman said with proper care we could still be driving this in 10 years.

I was a little nervous because I know you've wanted a scooter for some time now, but it really seemed like a good time for us to get one. Now we'll be able to handle the transportation crisis of four adults and two carseats in our car. We'll switch off taking turns riding the scooter...while the other couple transports the kiddies.

It looks pretty awesome! I asked Jason if he wanted to see a picture of it on the blog and he said "what color is it" and then before I could answer he said it's red isn't it!"

Sweet bro. I'm psyched that you ended up getting one. Happy B-Day

This is layne by the way.

What kind of gas mileage does it get or is it solar-powered or a flintstone-type--foot powered? Regardless you're sitting pretty. Now you can join the volunteer fire department since you have a fire-engine red scooter.
This is Brad

Looks good Jon! Have you given Marcella a ride yet? Tell the truth . . .

It depends on how big the rider is, or if there are more than one rider...but anywhere from 60-80 mpg...I bet I get around 70 alone...but I haven't calculated it yet. Marcella has ridden about 3 feet in the driveway while Kanien was standing sentinel nearby...but that's it.
