Marcella is getting bigger and bigger every day!! Yesterday she weighed 10lbs 12.5oz. We're glad she weighs so much. We've started taking her to church. It's fun to have her during Priesthood and Sacrament meeting, and the kids in our Sunday School class like holding her during our lessons. She's starting to reach and grasp, and is always feeling the textures of anything she can touch. She has a little lamb that's made of really soft polyester, and she'll hold onto it really tight if we give it to her...she also eats anything in reach of her tongue. Here are a few pictures.
Grandparents enjoying her company
Laying on Daddy's lap
Hugging her little lamb
This picture can be used as a desktop background, 1280x1024
All pooped out!!

Marcella after her Bath
She Did It!
Max and Marcella
Marcella Bella
What can I say she is a cutie. She has started sucking on her hands. She has fun playing with them. She now loves to play and grab at her pink bunny. What is it with kids and Bunnies Caroline? I can't wait for Caroline and Laurissa to see her, she is getting so big. She weighed in tonight at 10 lbs 9 ounces.
Two Cute Friends!
Here are a couple cute pictures of Trenton and Marcella. They were super Wonderful as Jami, my mom and I untook the challenge of making meals to freeze. Afterwards I wish that I would have taken a picture of the kitchen as well, You would be impressed we used about every pan that my mom owned. It was crazy, but fun.

4 Jobs you have had in Your Life:
What’s a job? (he he) I must admit that I have never been a telemarketer, so I can say that I have avoided that job. My first job was at Ream's Bakery. If you ever get the chance to try a glazed Croissant don’t pass it up. It's the best thing you'll ever eat! I then worked at Deseret Book, GouldEvans, and the place were I have made the most money and it required the least amount of skill known to man, is the Church Headquarters. I often wonder why some jobs for which much knowledge is required, pay quite poorly. I guess I will never understand.
4 Movies You Could Watch Over and Over:
I would have to agree with Jon on Sleepless in Seattle, it is a classic. We have even started incorporating lines from the movie into our daily life; that is when you know you watch a movie too much. I love Pride and Prejudice you just can’t get enough out of the book/movie that all romances are based on. I must say that I like Teeny-Bopper movies as well. These are not Jon’s favorites so I have to watch them when he is gone...you know the ones...What a Girl Wants, princess diaries, 13 going on 30, freaky Friday, etc. (I count those as one.) You can’t forget the classic Anne of Green Gables Series. What girl who has red hair doesn’t love those?
4 Places You have Lived:
I was born and live most of my little childhood in Boise Idaho. My Dad was a coal miner and we lived in Salina, Utah. (or “Salinas” as Dad Wallin said once...made me chuckle.) The rest of my childhood was spent in Layton, which is where my “home” is until I have a home of my own, and now here in Salt Lake.
4 TV Shows that You Love to Watch:
The Cosby show, it is the funniest. Antique Roadshow, someday I am going to be on it, and then you will all be glad that you are related to me. This Old House, because someday I will have enough money to have a house with all the coolest features that you see on the shows, and the TLC channel, although I haven’t been able to watch that since we don’t have cable, but they have some cool shows on there.
4 Places You Have Been on Vacation:
I have been to San Rafael Swell, one of the most memorable camping trips taken by the Dougal’s. The Cinque Terre, a place that I would recommend you go before you die, Sestri Levante, only had the best Gelato in the WORLD, something I hope we have in Heaven. Island Park, I must agree with Jon is the best vacation spot, we Love it up there.
4 Websites You Visit Daily:
Family Blogs, so start updating the more often. My Email, and that is about it.
4 of my Favorite Things to Eat:
Man since I can’t eat anything right now, I would have to say anything with Cheese, chocolate, Chinese take out, Henburgers, french-fries, and PIZZA.
4 Places you would Rather Be Right Now:
Island Park, I haven’t been for 7 Months and it is killing me, Anywhere in Europe, Hawaii, San Diego.
4 Books You’ve Read in the Past Year (or Two):
Recently I have finished books 1-5 in the Great Brain Series, by John D. Fitzgerald. I had forgotten how funny those are. The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and Silas Miner, by George Elliot.
4 Things You Like to Create:
I enjoy creating Quilts, what a fun way to pass the time. Decorating, only I wish I had more money to devote to doing it, a clean house, which keeps me busy everyday of the week. I like to create cute pictures of little Marcella.

I guess I just do the same thing Laurissa did...mine will probably be pretty boring, though.
4 Jobs You Have Had in Your Life:
This one's pretty easy, if not a little boring. My sleaziest job was when I worked in Lagoon's games dept. They would tell us stuff like, "Today is Italian Day. They ordered over 50 kegs of beer from Catering (Group Foods), so they'll probably have pretty loose pockets by the end of the day. I was also a telemarketer...it wasn't as bad as everyone always says it is...of course I just activated bank cards for Wells Fargo, so nothing that bad. I met my wife at Deseret Book (working as a sales peon), so I'd better include that. Currently I'm a freelance video operator/videographer/library dude/home hospice worker/student. That's probably the busiest job I've ever had.
4 Movies You Could Watch Over and Over:
Kanien and I like Sleepless in Seattle. More often than not, when we're sitting at home wondering if we should watch a video, it's Sleepless in Seattle. I can watch the old Star Wars movies a ton (I'll count that as one). I also like Persuasion, the one with CiarĂ¡n Hinds in it (check out The Internet Movie Database if you don't know it...it's a good flick). Last...probably It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World...especially with Mom, Dad, and the Family.
4 Places You Have Lived:
Hmmm...I started life in Michigan, but don't remember much about it. Kaysville is still the place I call "home," and it probably will be until Kanien and I settle down for good. I served my mission in Italy...lived in Milan for a year straight, so I should probably put Milan down. And...Sugarhouse is a cool area; I'm living there now.
4 TV Shows You Love to Watch:
Cosby Show, Looney Tunes, This old House or any cool KUED cooking show, and MASH. The first time I remember watching MASH was when we lived in Layton (the Camelot Subdivision). I was probably five or six, and I remember going out into the "front room" or whatever it was called, the one at the end of the hall, and Dad was watching MASH, probably at 10:00 p.m. or so. He let me sit by him on the couch and watch it...I only remember it was MASH, I don't remember what was going on. That was back in the day when Dad watched TV...now he doesn't.
4 Places You Have Been on Vacation:
Well...I've been to Jellystone Park in Manti, UT. That was a cool place, except my sister Caroline ignored the whole family for a week, instead choosing to hang out at the pool with boys from West Jordan. I've been to the Cinque Terre, a string of five cities on the Mediterranean in Italy. That's my favorite beach location...but Les Calanques in Southern France is pretty cool, too. Island Park, ID is probably my #1 vacation spot. I can't imagine not going there at least once a year. I think it's the only thing that keeps me sane during school/work/real life. No vacation list would be complete without the Wind Rivers in it. That's my #2 spot in the world, after Island Park.
4 websites you visit daily:
I visit family blogs, Digg.com (technology news), Google News (world news), and The Elder Scrolls, hoping they'll say a game they're producing has a ship date.
4 of your favorite foods:
I'd have to say a fresh salad with good Olio d'Olive Extra-Vergine and a good Aceto Balsamico di Modena is pretty hard to beat. Italian Pizza (authentic stuff) is right up there, too. Anything spicy from India/Thailand/China is good. But by far my #1 favorite meal consists of fresh European bread with butter, cheese, and a nice glass of Aranciata.
4 places you would rather be right now:
1. Island Park, ID with Kanien and Marcella (and the rest of the family). 2. At home with Kanien and Marcella. 3. Anywhere in Europe. 4. The Wind Rivers (yes, even if there's 16 feet of snow there right now).
4 National or State Parks You’d Rather not Live Without:
Capitol Reef is pretty cool. I'll have to go with the Jim Bridger Wilderness Area, the Uintah Mountain Wilderness Area, and Yellowstone just to round things off.
4 Books You’ve Read in the Past Year (or two):
Last year or two? How about in the last two months? I finished Out of the Silent Planet, by C. S. Lewis, then Perelandra, (same author), and That Hideous Strength...the final book in his Space Trilogy. I also read a commentary on The Chronicles of Narnia called Into the Wardrobe, that was by David C. Downing. It was pretty good. I'd go into books I've read for school, but most of you wouldn't be to thrilled with that.
4 Things You Like to Create:
I like to create web pages, even if I don't update my personal page very often. I also like to create video. It's pretty fun, even if editing stuff gets sort of boring. I like to create poetry, and some day I'll put some of the stuff I've written up on a website. I also like to create meals...so cooking, I guess.
Oh, and here's a recipe I created...actually won the contest. It's the only way I come up on Google...if you search "jon wallin" I'm on the second page!!
4 Bloggers You are Tagging:
I don't know any bloggers other than Mom that haven't already been tagged....except Kanien's Cousin...whose blog is here.

More Christmas!
You can tell how much Marcella is loved, because we didn't get to hold her almost the whole Christmas Day. She had fun being with her Grandmas.
Nathan Got a guitar for Christmas and is having fun learning to play. Dave I thought I would get Dad a book that you will enjoy when you get home, Calvin and Hobbes. I bet you can't wait.
Here is a picture you all have been waiting for, Marcella's crib. I love it, it looks so nice.
Christmas

Here they come!
I hope you are ready for some fun filled entertainment. As I was searching through my pictures I thought that I would start with this one.
This was taken at Nathan Birthday party in September. Notice anything different?
I think We look beautiful! Thanks for the fun party Nate!
Sorry again, but this is taking way to long for these pictures to upload. You will have to wait a little more for the mother load of pictures. I will try to make it over to the library today to get these posted. Have a great one!
