Easter

We had such a fun Easter. I am finding out that I need to take more pictures! The girls were invited to a couple Easter Egg Hunts and had so much fun finding their eggs, and baskets and dying Easter Eggs. We then had a fun Easter dinner with some friends from the ward. At one of the Egg hunts, Claire found 3 eggs and then headed to the trampoline and jumped the rest of the time. I have found it very funny that I LOVE candy and both of my kids don't. Claire will only eat chocolate and only rarely, and Marcella still has Halloween Candy, actually I think I just threw away those nerds that are in her Easter basket. Silly girls.

I just found some Cell phone pictures from Easter. Hurray! Hope you enjoy.

It Snowed!

We finally got a lot of snow in March. All through December we had a few storms but none that had been this big. The girls had a blast. They played in the snow for hours. One down side to living on the corner...shoveling the sidewalk on the side of your house as well. Enjoy!

Date Night

In March My friend Cyndi and I took our girls Cella and Eden out to see Suessical the Musical. We had so much fun. The musical was at the local high school. It was hard to hear and some parts, but it was so fun. The girls loved it. We went out for ice cream after and I am thinking it is time we do something like that again. it was so fun.

Louisville

It was a normal Saturday in Feb. Jobs (Chores) hadn't been done in a few weeks, so I had kindly informed my family that this weekend they would get done. Since I had finished mine on Friday you can imagine how bored I was watching them clean and I pulled Jon aside and said let's just forget it and get in the car and go somewhere. we can even decide when we get in the car. So 30 minutes later and a couple packed bags we hoped in the car throwing caution to the wind. I have to admit it has been one of my favorite vacations. We decided if we want warm weather we better start heading south and before we knew it we ended up in Louisville, KY. We were able to get a super sweet deal on a nice hotel that over looked the Ohio River. We checked in went to dinner. Then took the girls to the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen. Super Yummy! The next day we went exploring. We headed over to the Zoo, because Marcella is obessed with Gorillas, and they have an amazing exhibit for them. (side note: we kind of walked right around it and missed the Gorillas all together. by this time Claire was going crazy and Cella was mad that the only thing we saw was some pictures of people poaching Gorillas. Well she was actually furious and tired. So we pulled up and took a seat next to this tiger cage. As we were trying to calm down our children and not go completely bananas, this Tiger walked over and growled at us so loudly that it scared us half to death. We didn't even see it until after we heard the growl. I am thankful he was still in his cage, but we all thought we were about to be his lunch.)

Afterwards we had debated on if we should go to the Louisville Bat Factory. See I didn't want to spend that much on the tour especially when I thought it wouldn't be that cool for the girls, but I really really wanted to go. So Jon said let's just do it and we went. It was awesome because Inthe month of Feb. Indiana residents get tickets half off and the kids were free. So if you can't tell I was so happy. It was actually really cool to go and see how they made bats. They take you right into the shop. at the end you get a little bat and the girls loved that. Afterwards we headed home. It was the perfect over nighter. Enjoy the Cell Phone Pics:

Candy Canes

This past winter I think we perfected our candy cane making. Deidra and I were on a roll and I think we made enough Candy Canes to make us sick of Candy Canes for a few months. Deidra mentioned we should get a job at McCords candy shop downtown. They make candy canes 24/7. I may have to look into that. Onto the process.

Marcella had her first Piano Recital. It was perfect. She invited her School teacher to come. This is Miss Albrecht. She was such a great teacher. Sadly I didn't get a picture of Cella and her Piano teacher, but she loves her. She has been loving piano and has a great time playing.

Man alive this girl has a lot of people who love her. We sure love our Indiana Family.

While we were taking pictures in the other room, this is where Claire had run off to. Her and Dallin were playing a duet. I just love these pictures of them.

Then of Course, Cella and Millie Moo!
